Confirmation Prep

Our preparation program for the Sacrament of Confirmation is a two year cycle. Each level meets about once a month for two hours, following the Sunday 5 pm Mass (6:15-8:15 pm) from September to April [Confirmation 1 (generally 9th grade), Confirmation 2 (generally 10th grade).]

The gatherings are a combination of small group discussions, speakers and activities focused on faith formation as the Candidates prepare to be recognized as full adult participants in the life of the Church.

Part of this preparation includes building a relationship with a Confirmation Sponsor, and occasional homework.

The Sacrament of Confirmation is celebrated in the Spring (the date is determined by the Bishop).

Please consult the electronic calendar for the most up-to-date schedule, or find the links below for the fall mailings (Welcome Letters).

Each meeting includes dinner together; it is our hope that each family will be willing to provide part of a meal at least once during the year (families sign up electronically to help provide the meals). Please check your email for a link below to veiw the calendar and sign up to help with the meals.  If you did not receive this email, please contact Tom Jackson (

Please consider join our INCREDIBLY "catechetical team" as a Catechist (teacher/guide) or assistant Catechist.  The time commitment is reasonable (1 planning meeting/month (time determined by group) and 1 class session/month from September-April) and the rewards are great. All lesson plans and materials for your preparation are provided. Contact Tom Jackson with any questions:
